Hi I jsut wanted to know if anyone had any useful tips and also if someone could give me some ideas on prom hairstyles and makeup. I want to look really pretty as I don't have much self esteem. My prom is in a month so I am worried about what hairstyle I am going to have and how I should do my makeup. I have blonde hair, green eyes and am fairly pale skinned. I also wanted to know what colour prom dress you think I should go for. I am hoping to get a bodice and a big bottom area. If anyone has any pictures of a pretty dress which matches that description it would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

Love the hairstyle go for something like that! or a simple curly updo would look great! if your dress is strapless go for the hairstyle you showed us tho!! Keep base make up simple but make your eyes stand out. Go for a medium to dark coloured dress because a pastal coulour may make you look washed out. A deep blue or purple would look lovely. Your eyeshadow should match your dress. If you go for a purple dress get a dark purple eyeshadow and a light purple shadow and apply the dark ontop of the ligh along youe upper eyelid and bottom eyelid only, not your whole eyelid. Add a tiny bit of bronzer to your cheeks and clear gloss on your lips.

A good place to get makeup and hair ideas is the beauty school. They do a good job and don't charge much. You could go in now and get some ideas...have one of the girls fix your hair in an updo and also apply your makeup...you could decide what you wanted and then book an appt. with the same girl to do your hair and makeup the day of the prom. As for dresses, you're just going to have to try some on and see what looks best with your skin coloring and body style. Good luck and have lots of fun!!

keep your makeup natural looking, you should get some fake lashes to oomph up your eyes and use natural looking makeup. You should do your hair in a classy updo with a bit of glam, or jsut keep it down with ringlets. I suggest getting a facial, like soon because you see results from the facial in about a month. If you need any help read seventeen they have good makeup tips for people going to prom. I think a light blue or yellow or a floral dress would be good. Make sure all the attention is your face. Remember to bring a purse that you can lock up or that you dont need to worry about all night full of stuff to do touchups in the ladies room. for way more tips look online or invest in buying a stack of magazines! they really help!

Yess.....i love that hairstyle.....its soo nice!!!!! you could have that done in the hairdressers....or get somebody to do it for you. You could also have a makeover done, or do it yourself. I think that you would look great in the dress that you described. just keep looking and you'll find one (look in a phonebook for local shops were you can buy or rent 1)!!! hope this helps xxx have a great time.
