Need help for prom hairstyle!?

I have short-medium straight hair. I need a hairstyle quick for prom! I hate poofy hair and just flipping it out. Since I have straight hair, its always down or in a headband, so I was hoping someone could help me. I have a halter dress and I would really like something that still let me curl my hair. Any ideas?

i think it would be so cute if you did some loose curls and then pinned it back with a petty barrette that matches your dress, while leaving some small pieces falling around your face. you could use one of those hair pins with the jewels on it. so pretty!

Depends on how short it is. But just those simple not to tight curls look really good alot of stars do it. If its long enough to go up I would get it up and have peices hang down from the little bun thing its in that are curly Ive seen it before it looks super kacute.

Try a loose, curled updo perhaps.

Prom hair is pretty much the same as celebrity-red-carpet hair, so it might help to grap a copy of People. Or even better, one of those ad-filled prom mags. Even the ads will provide a ton of inspiration.
