hey guys. i know i already asked this, but i didnt get much answers, so... please help? um, my cousin means help with picking a dress for her prom. like, what color dress should she get? should she get a cocktail or no? what shoes to wear? how to put her hair?can anyone help? shes like about 5'2 and just dyed her hair all black. shes short on money, so.... Her proms in less than a month. please help. thanks. i (we) really appreciate it.

The color light blue is very pretty.

Heels-not too high

Hair curled which is very stylish and pretty

NOT the color black for a dress

Simple jewlery, silver necklace

go with a basic black dress, not too over the top but enough to make people look at you, as for shoes I would reccomend flat shoes that are dressy becuase her feet will be killing her after the night is over. for all black hair I would say if it is shoulder legnth then let it stay that way but put some shine spray on it.

There are some fine gowns to be found in thrift shops and resale shops. Look for a color that complements her; something she likes. A cocktail length is fine. Shoes can be a comfortable pump or sandal. Hair should be worn simply with perhaps a few glittery pins. Think of comfort rather than glamour; glamour wears off fast.

Well it depends on what her overall style is, really. Concidering that she has black hair you would probably go with the classic, elegant black and white dress. White will show off a tan (if you have one) and this classic look is always noticed. Personally, I like it when the hair is just worn down and curled (simplistic). If your hair is short, try wearing a snazzy headband (probably white, to contrast against the black hair.

A pink or red dress would look good with her hair color...maybe something thats sparkly. For shoes, black heels, medium height, maybe the same color of the dress if she doesn't want black. For hair, wear it down and maybe curly. Makeup...the complementary color of the dress.
