Hair extensions!?

i want to get my hair extended for prom.

but then i want to be able to take it out and reuse it so would clip ins be good for this?

You can get clip in extension and they are reusable if they are human hair. However, the quality of the hair depends on how much money you are willing to spend. I would not recommend getting synthetic hair because you can't put heat on them and they are not reusable. I suggest going to a stylist that knows how to do extensions because if you try to install them yourself, they may not look believable.

Also, you need to make sure that they match your hair color or have a stylist dye them to match your hair color.

Lastly if you don't get the clip in extensions...you can get the tracks on the wefts and have those integrated into your own hair. This is something that a stylist would definitely have to do but if done correctly, they will be reusable also.

You can get human hair clip in extensions and they do not look fake. You can also curl them and straighten them, and wash and dye them if need be.

If you are wearing the extensions under your hair just to give extra volume, fake/synthetic clip-ins will do the trick. But if you are actually going to make your hair appear longer, the synthetic hair extensions can be tricky - unless you find something that matches very closely your actual hair. Even then, styling can prove to be quite challenging as those synthetic fibres cannot handle hot tools.
