You should go with colors that make you stand out. If you were fair skinned then you couldnt get away with being vivacious! Purplish or teal?!!

red, pink, orange, yellow, gold, purple (lavender). No silver brown or black! Defiantly red or orange or yellow or a mixture!

I say your best bet would be a dress in the white/cream/beige area. They really bring out a nice tan and look great on brunettes! =]
