Is it possible to get my hair done this way permanently? (see photo)?

i've got curly hair.. its pretty thick too. the humidity in my country makes it frizzy and look dry... i had my hair done at my prom like this: http://static.flickr.com/74/203561630_09...

and i loved it. i want my hair done that way permanently now. is it possible? and will the chemicals damage my hair again? since... i had my hair straightened a few years ago. that made my hair abit dry. sooo thanks in advance for your help!

Well if you want it look that permanently, you'll have to chemically straighten it, then use a large curling iron on it every day. Your best bet is to invest in a ceramic flat iron and a large curling iron. You might also try blow drying it with a large round brush. but that will leave you will frizz. Also buy styling cremes to help tame the frizz.

Personally, i don't think it will stay that way permanently and you will have to work extremely hard to keep it like that. The style is extremely nice, but maybe only get it coloured the same way and wear it like that on special occasions or if you just feel like looking Nice, or consult your hairdresser for more information.
